Hello, my name is Johnny Wilson, owner and artist at Circle City Tattoo in the city of Orange, and this is the story of Circle City Tattoo.
I am a fourth-generation Old Town Orange resident. My grandparents met in the mid-1930s in the circle in front of Orange High School, which is now Chapman College. My grandparents went to Orange High School in the '40s, my mother went to Orange High School in the '60s, and I went to Orange High School in the '80s. Our family's history and love for the city run very deep. In my opinion, the city of Orange is the most unique slice of paradise in the United States.
When I decided to open up Circle City Tattoo, I called my childhood friend Eric Webb, owner of Circle City Barber Shop, and Jimmy White, owner of Circle City Hot Rod. I asked them both if I could borrow the name for my new tattoo shop. All of us being Orange boys, they agreed and thought it was a great idea. Circle City Tattoo is not just a tattoo shop—it's a representation of all my years and the love my family and I have for the city.
We strive to produce quality, clean, and professional tattoos for our clients, with a mix of well-rounded artists specializing in fine line, color work, American traditional, and black and gray tattooing. Come get a slice of Orange from us. GOD BLESS!!
